Although it can work normally at higher temperatures, 5w30 oil is especially suitable for vehicles that circulate in cold climates. It is generally recommended for gasoline cars or light diesel engines due to its lower fluidity. On the other hand, 10W40 engine oil is suitable for a broader spectrum of weather conditions. The 10W40 oil viscosity is also frequently used to lubricate older engines, which reach very high temperatures or have problems with oil leaks.

The oil filter contains different parts that make it work properly. EL 10w40 is primarily semi-synthetic and suitable for use in gasoline and diesel engines. It is not suitable for use in vehicles equipped with particulate filters due to its sulfur and phosphorus content. It can be mounted on catalyzed engines. With this oil it is recommended not to travel more than 10,000 km.
